Diagnose fuel systems and emission control systems. This course will cover the theory of operation, diagnosis, service and repair of fuel systems including TBI, MPI and DI systems. Also vehicle emissions systems including PCV, EGR, EVAP, Catalytic Converters and OBD II computer systems will be taught. Learners will get hands on training on late model cars to reinforce classroom theory. Learners will also be trained in the use of: oscilloscopes, engine analyzers, gas benches, EGR testers, scan tools and various computer self-diagnostics tools.

Notes
This class is offered as self-paced learning.   Lectures will be offered online.  Lab competencies will be completed in the Automotive Labs at the Wausau Campus.  This lab is open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM-2:30PM.  Contact advisor Houa Lee with any questions.
