Notes
Attend Your Way -- In-person dates are 7/8, 7/10, 7/15, 7/17. Using rooms EMS113 and EMS103. -- However, Due to the flexibility of the program, students may obtain certification in their time frames. If the student chooses to obtain ACLS and PALS certification through a different source other than the one offered in class, the student would need to pay for the classes needed. These classes are not covered under the Paramedic Advanced Resuscitation class. The student would then need to upload the Current ACLS and PALS cards to Canvas to receive credit for those classes. Students would also need to submit the pretests to Canvas to receive a grade. The final score of the written test would also be required. If a student only uploads the completion card to Canvas, the student will receive a grade of 84% for the final exam. An 84% is required to pass the ACLS and PALS exams through AHA. AHA does offer an online version of ACLS and PALS where the student would only need to meet in person to test out skills.
