(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is pleased to partner with the Community Partners Campus to offer a free dental sealant clinic for children ages six to seventeen. The event is open to the public and will be held at NTC’s Wausau campus in the Center for Health Sciences building Friday, April 4 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Appointments are required for the event Friday, April 4.
Dental sealant services will be provided by NTC Dental Hygiene students, under the supervision of dentists and hygienists, and focus on preventative dental care to keep teeth healthy. Sealants are thin, protective coatings applied to back teeth to help prevent cavities. They seal off grooves where food and bacteria can become trapped, making teeth easier to clean. The application process is quick and painless. Sealants last for several years, which helps prevent cavities for kids and teens well into the future.
This free community event is open to all kids ages six to seventeen and no proof of finances, insurance or residency is needed. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 715.803.1585.
This event is sponsored by the NTC Dental Hygiene Club and the NTC Foundation.
