This course is designed is understand how personalities and risk tolerance can effect decision making processes for first responders in high pressure situations. This course will use the Risk Type Compass assessment to provide critical insight in to individual risk types, what they mean for decision making, and how to leverage this knowledge in the field in accordance with policies and procedures. In this course participants will understand the relationship between their unique risk type's and personality traits, how to apply risk type knowledge to decision making processes, how to recognize these traits in their team and crew, and how to use this knowledge to influence the safety culture in their organization.
