Procedure for Changing Academic Programs
Sometime students find the program they’re in, no longer matches their career or educational goals. Students who wish to change their academic program plan should meet with their College Advising Specialist.
If you are unsure about what program to move into, contact a Career Exploration Advisor.
If you’re sure of the new program, schedule a 30 minute appointment with your current College Advising Specialist. During the appointment, you and your advisor will discuss:
- Career goals
- Identify the new program
- Determine if there are additional admissions considerations
- Review courses
- Complete a Program Change Form
- Set up a follow up appointment with the new advisor
Once you are fully accepted into the new program, degree requirements can be viewed in MyNTC.
