Provide learners with an understanding of the foundational principles in anatomy, physiology, and pathology essential for success in the field of massage therapy. The composition of the body will be introduced, and learners will gain knowledge about each body system as well as disorders and medical conditions associated with them. Special attention will be given to the muscular and skeletal systems and learners will locate and palpate major muscles and bony landmarks throughout the body.
