Petitioning is how you gain acceptance into core health program classes. When you petition you are letting NTC know you are ready for the commitment of your program. Our goal is to admit the most academically prepared applicants into our health programs each year.
If you are just beginning your application steps with NTC, get started by reviewing the appropriate Program Overview below. If you’re already a pre-program student, mark your calendar for the upcoming Petition window and HESI test dates.
SUMMER PETITION FOR NURSING! JULY 8-12, 2013
The Nursing program still has openings for Fall 2013! You could begin taking program classes for Nursing this August!!
If you have completed petition requirements or are enrolled in your final required course(s) this summer, you may petition this summer and HESI test for a spot in the Fall 2013 cohort.
Note the timeline for admission will be accelerated. If you are planning to petition, make sure you have completed CPR (summer courses are still open). If admitted, you will have a very short timeline to provide documentation of CPR completion and submit a Background Information Disclosure (BID).
