| Northcentral Technical College is pleased to celebrate International Education Week and open international cultural learning to the Wausau Community, Tuesday, November 17, from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the Lawrence B. Hoyt Student Center.
NTC international students are excited to share their countries and cultures with Ethnic food, beverages, art, dance, singing, presentations, country booths, crafts, henna, and trivia. A Parade of Nations will take place at 6:00 p.m. with students wearing their national dress. Over twenty countries will be represented at this family-friendly event.
International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
The International Education Week festivities are FREE and open to the public. "
